Our residential, educational and community based programs
are specifically designed to fit the needs of children
with a variety of disorders and to provide consistent
treatment over time to a diversity of clients and families.
Each program uses a combination of our services to provide
directed, individualized treatment, promote healing,
and help our clients overcome their limitations. Every
program is headed by an experienced mental health clinician
and staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of mental health
professionals.
This team, with input from the client and significant
persons in the client's life, develops a master Individualized
Treatment Plan (ITP). The treatment plan, which is documented
over time and continually revised to reflect improvements,
assesses progress and defines goals and objectives to
be achieved within specific time frames.
Treatment team members provide therapeutic intervention
and support to family members of Sunny Hills Services
clients whenever possible. Our staff also works closely
with county caseworkers to establish treatment and monitor
progress towards reunification (if appropriate) or eventual
placement in the most suitable setting for each child.
